Job Description
Version 1 is looking to expand our network of clients and verticals. To support this, we have created a new role: Commercial Director for Strategic Alliances, focusing on growth-led business development across our strategic technology partners and supporting our rapid growth in the UK.
- Understand our partners’ strategy and help build awareness initiatives around our capabilities to support differentiation, customer wins, and market success.
- Build strong alliances between our technology partners and our organization, developing business plans to drive opportunity and revenue growth.
- Drive partner pipeline and customer wins through focused sales plays, GTMs, and campaigns, delivering qualified opportunities to support revenue targets.
- Collaborate with our technical teams to identify, develop, and launch value-added solutions showcasing our capabilities and partner technologies.
- Support expansion into new geographies, verticals, and use cases by aligning with partner strategies.
- Work with sales and marketing teams to develop targeted lead generation campaigns.
- Manage CRM processes, maintaining leads and data integrity.
- Bring innovative ideas for generating new leads and opportunities for the sales team.
- Proven experience in proactive lead qualification, sales, or a service-oriented role with a strong sales focus.
- Degree (or equivalent) in Business or Marketing.
- Strong customer service focus and knowledge of technology partnership models, especially with Microsoft and AWS.
- Understanding of marketing and sales best practices in lead nurturing.
- High familiarity with the sales funnel process.
- Experience managing CRM systems.
- Success in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with partners and team members.
