A growing electronics manufacturing business based in Stoke-on-Trent is looking to recruit two Test Engineers to join its expanding production and engineering team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong electronic fault-finding skills, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of electronic assemblies within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Role
As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for testing, diagnosing and validating electronic products to ensure they meet required performance and quality standards.
You will play a key role in identifying faults at component level, supporting production, and working closely with engineering teams to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults down to component level on electronic assemblies
- Carry out testing and troubleshooting of products during production
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documentation
- Use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters and signal generators
- Program electronic devices using PC-based tools
- Maintain accurate test records and documentation
- Work closely with production, engineering and quality teams to resolve issues
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the test process
- HNC or equivalent in Electronic Engineering (or relevant experience)
- Strong component-level fault-finding skills
- Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics
- Experience using electronic test equipment
- Good PC skills, including use of test or programming software
- Background in a manufacturing or production test environment
- Experience working with RF electronics
- Salary £30,000 £35,000
