Senior IT Server Support Engineer

Location: Remote / 1 day per month in Oxford

Salary: Circa £55,000 - £60,000 + Bonus + Benefits

A growing Top Tech Company is looking to add Senior IT Server Support Engineers  to its operations team. Supporting large-scale online systems used globally, you’ll play a key role in ensuring infrastructure remains secure, stable, and highly available across a fast-moving production environment

The role:

You’ll be responsible for supporting Microsoft-based infrastructure and cloud environments, covering monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement across critical systems. The role also involves working closely with internal stakeholders and supporting controlled infrastructure changes across the wider platform

Essential:

•Strong Windows Server experience including IIS, Failover Clustering and Microsoft NLB

•Experience supporting Microsoft Entra / Microsoft 365 technologies including Exchange Online, Intune, Defender and Teams

•Cloud infrastructure experience including AWS and Cloudflare

•Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

•Experience supporting high-availability production environments

•Able to work remotely with one day per month in Oxford

•Willing to participate in a shared 24/7 on-call rota

Nice-to-have:

•Linux systems experience
