Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Windows / Cloud Platforms

Location: Remote / 1 day per month in Oxford

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + Bonus + Benefits

A growing Top Tech Company is looking to add Senior Infrastructure Engineers  to its operations team supporting large-scale, high-availability production platforms used globally

This is a hands-on infrastructure role focused on Windows Server, cloud platforms and core Microsoft technologies within a complex production environment. The position is NOT a desktop support or general service desk role

The role:

You’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving critical infrastructure platforms across Windows Server, Microsoft cloud and web infrastructure environments, ensuring systems remain secure, stable and highly available.

You’ll also support infrastructure change, platform improvements, monitoring, troubleshooting and incident resolution across production systems.

Essential:

• Strong enterprise Windows Server infrastructure experience
• Strong IIS, Failover Clustering and Microsoft NLB experience
• Experience supporting high-availability production/server environments
• Strong Microsoft Entra ID / Microsoft 365 administration experience including Exchange Online, Defender and Intune
• Experience supporting AWS and Cloudflare environments
• Strong infrastructure troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Experience working across server, network and cloud infrastructure
• Comfortable supporting production systems within a fast-paced environment
• Able to work remotely with 1 day per month in Oxford
• Willing to participate in a shared 24/7 on-call rota (approx. 1 week in every 6)

Nice to have:

• Linux systems administration experience
• PowerShell or automation experience
• Exposure to web/application hosting environments
