IT Hardware Engineer

We're looking for a hands-on Hardware Support Engineer to support one of our key MSP clients in Glasgow. You'll provide on-site troubleshooting, maintenance, and deployment of IT hardware, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations for end users.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and fix hardware issues on desktops, laptops, and peripherals

• Deploy, configure, and maintain new equipment

• Support users via tickets and in-person assistance

• Manage hardware inventory and coordinate replacements

• Assist with hardware refreshes, upgrades, and office moves

Requirements

• Experience in IT or hardware support

• Strong knowledge of PC/laptop repair, diagnostics and screen replacements

• Familiarity with Windows environments

• Great communication and customer-service skills

• CompTIA A+ (preferred)

This role is on a contract basis until 23/12/2025 with scope for longer term work ahead.
