Onsite Support Engineer
Our client are a well established managed services business who are looking to onboard a qualified Technical Support Engineer to join the team at their client's corporate office near Cavendish Square in London.
This role will operate Monday to Friday in office on a temp - perm arrangement.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide high quality desk-side and remote support across 1st / 2nd line issues
- Onboarding and offboarding users
- Act as first point of contact for incidents, service requests, general IT support queries which will be backed up by a remote helpdesk
- Providing technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, smartphones
- Logging and managing tickets via Service Now
- Install, configure and troubleshoot AV equipment in meeting rooms
To Qualify:
- Proficient in supporting W7/W8/W10/W11 OS
- MS Office support including all versions of O365
- Experience with AD and end user management
- Understanding of basic networking concepts (WAN, LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience in supporting AV equipment and meeting rooms
- Exposure to virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI)
- Must have a minimum of 18 months experience in IT support
- Must have previous experience within a white glove / VIP environment
