Data Governance & Insights Analyst

We’re partnered with a globally recognised organisation operating at the intersection of data, community, and industry benchmarking. They are known for producing high-profile, data-led outputs that rely on credibility, transparency, and robust governance.

They are now looking to hire a Data Governance & Insights Analyst to take ownership of the integrity, accuracy, and governance of complex voting and stakeholder data. This is a critical role that underpins trust in externally facing outputs, while also generating insights that support brand, community, and commercial strategy. Sitting at the intersection of data, operations, and governance, this role offers a unique blend of hands-on delivery and continuous improvement, ideal for someone who enjoys both structured processes and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the accuracy, integrity, and auditability of complex datasets, ensuring consistent data quality across all cycles
  • Translate governance policies into clear, practical processes, ensuring rules and standards are applied consistently
  • Oversee end-to-end voting or submission cycles, including monitoring progress, managing timelines, and ensuring stakeholder engagement
  • Maintain and optimise CRM/database systems to support compliant and efficient data collection and validation
  • Identify risks or inconsistencies within datasets and implement controls to improve accuracy and reduce vulnerabilities
  • Balance high-volume, time-sensitive operational work with longer-term process improvements and governance enhancements
  • Analyse event, engagement, and stakeholder data to generate actionable insights that inform business decisions
  • Produce clear reporting and documentation to support transparency, auditability, and internal alignment
  • Ensure confidential data is handled securely and in line with best-practice governance standards
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with brand, commercial, and community teams to support strategic initiatives

Requirements:

  • Experience working with data governance, data quality, or operational controls within a structured environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and identify trends or anomalies
  • Experience using CRM systems or databases, including configuration, data management, or optimisation
  • High attention to detail with a methodical and organised approach to managing multiple priorities
  • Ability to translate policies or frameworks into practical, operational processes
  • Comfortable working with confidential or sensitive data, demonstrating sound judgement and discretion
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and ensure alignment across processes
  • Experience in data analysis or insight generation, ideally linked to events, engagement, or customer behaviour

The Opportunity:

  • Play a key role in safeguarding the credibility of high-profile, externally visible outputs
  • Gain exposure to both operational data management and strategic insight generation
  • Work in a role that blends structure, governance, and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with multiple teams across a global, data-driven environment
  • Take ownership of processes and make a tangible impact on how data is managed and utilised
