AI Governance Specialist - Investment Bank

Our client is a global Investment Bank who are looking to add an AI Governance Specialist to their growing Financial Markets Data Management team in London.

The team has established data governance frameworks across the Front Office, covering Trade and Market Data and they are now looking to leverage AI capabilities across the Bank, but require someone with hands-on AI governance experience to support with the controlled enablement of AI use cases. The role would sit between technology and business, involving working with business stakeholders to understand proposed AI use cases and advise/consult business teams on best practice, whilst also building solutions for governance mostly in Databricks.

The ideal candidate would have:

• Background in Financial Markets, or broader Financial Services at a minimum.
• Prior experience in data governance/management, with more recent hands-on AI governance exposure.
• Tech skills such as Python or Databricks development highly desirable.
• Good stakeholder management skills and ability to act as a bridge between technology and business
