I'm currently supporting a leading Bank in their search for an experienced Java API Engineer to join their flagship Digital Platform.

The Digital Platform is a collaborative and high-throughput environment where you'd be responsible for the full life cycle development and constant evolution of the platform, from gathering requirements to deployment. You'd also be involved in the development of the cloud platform developing Infrastructure and managing CI/CD pipelines.

There is a large and consistently growing book of work across multiple work streams using cutting edge technology and this is a great opportunity to work alongside a well-established team of talented Engineers in a company that have a strong emphasis on upskilling and a knowledge sharing culture.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of Java and Microservices

• Experience implementing AWS

• Strong knowledge of DevOps - experience with CI/CD (Gitlab)

• Experience dealing with highly scalable systems with high throughput

• Experience with Postgres, Terraform, Kafka and Containers with be beneficial

• Testing experience (TDD)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
