Lead (Java/Kotlin/React) Developer - Front Office - Bank

I'm currently supporting a leading Investment Bank in their search for an experienced Lead Java/Full Stack Developer to join their Fixed Income team.

This role plays a key role in an exciting multi-year platform modernisation project, responsible for building completely new Real Time microservices for a range of trading workflows.

Responsibilities:

-Develop Real Time high-performing micro-services across Fixed Income

-Architecting solutions across the full stack

-Influence platform direction and drive the adoption of modern tooling and frameworks

-Work closely with business stakeholders

-Collaborate with cross functional teams

Requirements:

-Strong experience with modern Java/Kotlin and React

-Experience in Front Office environments (Fixed Income is a benefit)

-Experience with concurrency, memory management and reactive programming models

-Experience with using modern Front End tooling

-Experience with low-latency and event-driven UIs

-Understanding of distributed system design principles
