Junior Data Analyst

Our client, a leading logistics Company based in Birmingham are looking for a Graduate Data Analyst with 1-2 year’s experience who is looking to take the next step in their career.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Companies’ Business Information department, part of the wider operational team in order to provide detailed analytical support and reporting.

Starting salary of £30,000 with hybrid working.

Junior Data Analyst duties to include:-

• Provide detailed analytical support to the Business Information and Hub Operations team.
• Collect, analyse and report on relevant information in order to generate reports, identifying patterns and trends.
• Use Microsoft Excel to analyse and manipulate data.
• Produce reports which can be used to identify operational improvements.
• Provide insights to support strategic planning and decision making.

The Junior Data Analyst will have:-

• A degree in a related field, preferably Data Analysis, but other relevant degree subjects will be considered.
• 12 months+ experience in a data analytical role.
• Strong numerical skills.
• Curiosity with desire to learn quickly.
• Reliable nature.
• Ability to take ownership and responsibility.
• Excellent IT skills, to include Microsoft, specifically advanced Microsoft Excel ability.
• Power BI experience/knowledge.
• Strong problem solving ability.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal.)
• Able to translate questions into clear, measurable outputs.
• Professionalism working with operational stakeholders.
