• Location- Leeds, hybrid- 2 days in office
• Salary Up to £80k gross

Build, ship, and maintain data-driven web apps in Python with a modern Front End. Own features end-to-end, mentor devs, and keep delivery moving.

Must-haves

• 5+ years' software dev with Python (Django/FastAPI/Flask)

• Front End with React or Vue, plus HTML/CSS

• Strong SQL and database design; comfort with data analysis/math

• AWS (core services) and Terraform (IaC)

• Docker, serverless patterns, and CI/CD pipelines

• Solid problem-solving, attention to detail, and clear comms

• Agile delivery experience (Scrum/Kanban) and team mentoring

Nice-to-haves

• ORMs (eg, SQLAlchemy/Django ORM) and Server Side templating

• Deeper AWS knowledge and architecture best practices

• Design patterns & software architecture principles

What you'll do

• Design, build, and review Python services and web UIs

• Model data, write performant SQL, and automate infra with Terraform

• Ship via CI/CD; containerise with Docker; use serverless where it fits

• Collaborate with Product/UX/Eng; turn vague problems into crisp solutions

• Prototype new tech and present PoCs to tech + business stakeholders
