Linux Systems Engineer

Fully Remote (UK/Ireland) | Full-time | £50,000 / €60,000 + Benefits

What You’ll Do

Own the design, deployment, and performance of enterprise systems: cloud, compute, storage, virtualization, and networking.
Champion high availability (99.999%) and business continuity across our infrastructure.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, architecture, and security teams.
Build automation and tooling to support scalability and agility.
Lead change management, monitoring, and system health across 24/7 environments.

What You Bring

2+ years’ experience in Linux infrastructure environments.
Expertise in VMware, AD, DNS, DHCP, scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
Familiar with SAN/NAS, VPNs, VLANs, Layer 2/3 networking, and disaster recovery planning.
Hands-on with tools like Ansible, Terraform, Veeam, or Rubrik.
Preferred experience with AWS or Azure, and O365/Mail Security.
