Staff AI Engineer – Belfast / Hybrid - £DOE

We’re hiring a senior-level AI engineer to help build an AI-first platform from the ground up. If you’re excited by real-world applications of LLMs, real-time intelligence processing, and working with data at serious scale — this is your kind of role.

What you’ll do:

• Architect and ship AI-powered features for threat detection & intelligence
• Build scalable data pipelines, real-time APIs, and microservices
• Integrate and fine-tune LLMs (including RAG and vector search)
• Own core system components, mentor engineers, and lead with impact

What you’ll bring:

• 8+ years in software/AI engineering, with 3+ focused on ML systems
• Python + JavaScript, Transformers, LangChain, vector DBs (e.g. Pinecone)
• MLOps, cloud AI (SageMaker, Bedrock), containerized environments (K8s, Docker)
• Experience building production AI systems that scale and handle sensitive data
