Apprentice Events Technician
The VSS team is delivering the best possible video solutions to production clients in Film & Television Production and Concert Touring.
We work closely with Directors of Photography, VFX specialists and Production, Lighting and Video Designers, to understand their aims and provide the right solutions to enable them to realise their concepts.
Role
Video Screen Services Ltd (VSS) are a in a period of growth and looking to invest in new talent that are passionate about working within the entertainment industry.
The overview of the role is (but not limited to)
- Preparing and setting up technical equipment for live events ranging from TV, film and concerts
- Assist in ensuring that equipment for the various productions are prepared and set up to the highest possible standards
- Provide support when setting up shows
- Support the team with loading and unloading technical equipment
- Supporting and assisting the Team in the warehouse prepping and de-prepping the kit to go out on show and then returns
- Work with colleagues and subcontractors to ensure that the set is ready for action
