Field Service Engineer
About the role As a Field Service Engineer, youll help keep customers connected by installing, maintaining and repairing broadband, TV and phone services in their homes. Youll receive a starting salary of £29,000, with the potential to earn up to £36,200 through overtime and commission. For this position, you must live in one of the following postcodes: BT47, BT48, BT82 Day to day, youll: Visit customers homes to install and repair broadband, TV and phone services Diagnose and resolve technical faults calmly and accurately Explain solutions clearly so customers feel informed and reassured Take ownership of jobs from start to finish Work safely at heights and outdoors in all weather conditions Balance technical problem-solving with excellent customer care Youll be supported from day one. Youll complete structured training before heading out into the field, with ongoing coaching and access to support whenever you need it. Ive really enjoyed my journey so far. Youll need to live within one of the specified postcode areas, and your working patterns and expectations will be discussed as part of the recruitment process. After training, youll work 37.5 hours across just 4 days (Monday to Saturday), with shifts ranging between 7.5 and 10 hours.
