Some examples of daily tasks:
- Assist with preparation of agendas, meeting papers, minutes, and action logs for governance meetings
- Support collection and consolidation of information for governance reporting, dashboards, and performance indicators
- Support preparation activities for internal and external audits, including scheduling, evidence gathering, and tracking actions
- Update compliance trackers, audit dashboards, and remediation logs under supervision
- Provide administrative support to project managers, including scheduling meetings, updating timelines, and tracking project actions
- Manage shared inboxes, calendars, meeting logistics, and internal communication activities
- Help prepare presentations, briefings, and summary documents as required
- Ensure sensitive documents and information are handled in line with confidentiality and compliance expectations
Training
Most of your learning will be on-the-job in the office, with structured training, workplace mentoring, and opportunities to develop skills across business governance, compliance administration, and project coordination.
Alongside your day-to-day duties you will also undertake a Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship programme run by Chichester College Group.
This is primarily delivered online once a fortnight, but there will be 6 in person sessions scattered throughout the programme duration at Chichester College.
