They have recently begun expanding into Payments and FX opening two new role in a exiting Greenfield environment
This Application Support role sits within the Front Office team, working directly with applications and traders in the FX settlement and Payments sector. I'm looking for outgoing candidates who not only meet the technical requirements—PowerShell, Python Java or Bash for scripting and automation, SQL for querying and general scripting ,—but who can also thrive in a fast-paced, highly integrated, and social working environment. You will also need to have experience working in a Linux environment and have worked with BACS ,CHAPS, SWIFT and SEPA
Role: Application Support Analyst
Package: £90,000 per annum + minimum 25% bonus + excellent benefits
Working Model: Hybrid (3 days in office) + well-paid on-call rates when required
Tech Stack: SQL, Swift, Scripting language, Linux
Key Skills:
- Strong PowerShell skills (this is the primary focus for the role)
- Background in financial services; Payments experience is key
- Daily use of SQL—must be confident in querying and scripting
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage tickets and liaise directly with traders to resolve issues
- Compliance and reporting
- Worked swift releases, Chaps/backs scheme updates
- Knowledge of API onboarding, FIX messaging, and market protocols
- Previous exposure to Payment Applications
