Data Analyst - Senior is needed for a multi-national, Investment Management house, active across fixed income, liability driven investment, interest rates & multi assets with over £500 Billion assets under management. As an investment management firm, they are looking at grow through acquisition strategy, aiming to expand their offering in terms of both asset classes and providing their external client base a wider portfolio of investment opportunities. As such they are looking for a senior Data Analyst to help them navigate and understand their client base by looking at opportunities to cross and up sell their services.

As a Data Analyst you will gather, categorise and recommend on the further building out of Data Analytics and reporting available across the business. As a Data Analyst you will gain wide exposure across the different client offerings including Trading, Clearing, investment & Asset Management. As such, there is a significant amount of data that is available and presented in the right way that can assist in the decision making of the board as well as upselling their services to their institutional clients.

There is a significant amount of disparate data available across the firm that presented in the right way that can assist upselling and decision making to the board. Therefore, as a Data Analyst you must have excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between the different business streams including Front, Middle & Back office and current Data storage.

Salary: Up to £110,000 + Bonus+ Benefits

Hybrid working: 3 days a week Central London

SQL, SQL Queries, Power BI, DataBricks, ETL Process/Pipeline, Python (bonus)

This data analyst role is for a newly created team to help understand, visualise, digest and utilise the firm’s data for decision making regarding expanding their offering. This will come in the forms of reporting, dashboards and metrics that are available to the firm through BI and SQL. immediacy, this role will be instrumental in building data models and reports.

Experience needed:

· Strong communicator whilst using data to deliver this in a graphic form using Power BI

· Good knowledge writing SQL queries to analyse data.

· Experience in working with financial data, ideally coming from external clients

· Good experience of quantitative approaches to data analysis and strong numeracy.

· Good knowledge of BI to answer business questions, define metrics and create reports.

· Experience of data modelling experience to provide self-service functionality to users.

· Experience of working with stakeholders across departments and driving results.

· Strong attention to detail and data integrity.
