A Front Office C# .NET Developer is required to join a high‐performing integration team within one of the world’s leading energy trading firms, based in their Victoria office.

Energy trading is one of the most exciting and consequential sectors in technology right now. The energy transition, volatile global markets and the increasing complexity of trading operations are driving serious investment in C# .NET engineering and this firm sits right at the centre of that.

This is not a back‐office support role. It’s a front office developer seat, working directly with the trading desk and influencing the systems and data traders rely on in real time.

The opportunity is twofold:

• In the near term, you’ll play a key role integrating a recently acquired US business into the firm’s existing front‐office technology ecosystem a complex, high‐impact project syncing ETRM platforms, SAP and CreditCube across two businesses.

• As the project matures, the role evolves into a long‐term front‐office C# .NET development position, giving you a career path at the heart of one of the most dynamic trading businesses in the market.

The Team

You’ll join the C# .NET integration team within a broader front‐office development function that has expanded following a US acquisition. The team works closely with trading, operations and technology stakeholders across both regions, and the role carries both development and support responsibilities with room for leadership.

Role Details

As a Front Office C# .NET Developer, you will:

• Lead and contribute to the integration of a recently acquired US business into the firm’s front‐office trading systems

• Design and develop scalable C# .NET backend services supporting ETRM and front‐office workflows

• Build and maintain C# .NET integrations across Azure cloud infrastructure

• Work closely with trading desk stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust solutions

• Support front‐office systems to ensure stability and performance

• Contribute to the long‐term evolution of the front‐office development function

• Operate with autonomy and initiative this role needs someone who can lead as well as execute

Required Experience

• Strong commercial experience as a C# .NET Developer, ideally in a front‐office or trading environment

• Proven backend C# .NET development experience in energy, commodities or financial trading • Exposure to ETRM systems or trading platforms

• Hands‐on Azure experience

• Experience delivering solutions in operationally critical environments

• Strong communicator able to work across front‐office and technical teams

• Ability to operate independently with leadership capability

Desirable Experience

• Direct front‐office C# .NET development in energy or commodities trading

• SAP or CreditCube integration experience

• Experience with front‐office system integration or migration projects

• Commodities or energy trading domain knowledge

• Exposure to ETRM platforms and front‐office data flows
