A leading Commodities & Energy Trading House is undertaking a number of major transformation initiatives, including a greenfield implementation of the Orchestrade ETRM platform. As part of this programme, we are seeking an experienced Orchestrade QA Analyst to play a key role ensuring system quality, stability, and successful delivery across Front and Middle Office trading workflows.

This position sits at the heart of the trading technology landscape, working closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Front Office users to validate system functionality across the end-to-end trade lifecycle, with an initial focus on the onboarding of Precious Metals trading into Orchestrade.

As an Orchestrade QA Analyst, you will take ownership of testing activities across the platform, ensuring configurations, integrations, and workflows operate correctly within a live trading environment. You will work directly with trading desks and operational stakeholders, gaining strong exposure to Front-to-Back processes within a commodities trading setup.

The role requires strong hands-on Orchestrade experience, with the ability to understand trading workflows, validate risk and valuation outputs, and ensure changes meet both business and technical requirements.

💷 Day Rate: Up to £700 per day (Inside IR35)

📅 Contract: 6-month rolling

📍 Location: London – Hybrid (2-3 days onsite)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test strategies across Orchestrade implementations
• Perform functional, integration, and UAT testing within the Orchestrade ETRM platform
• Validate trade lifecycle workflows, pricing, valuation, and risk calculations
• Work closely with Front and Middle Office users to understand expected system behaviour
• Support onboarding of new desks, products, and market data configurations
• Identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and work with Development teams toward resolution
• Maintain structured QA documentation, including test plans, defect tracking, and regression packs
• Collaborate proactively with Business Analysts and Developers throughout delivery cycles

Required Experience

• Extensive commercial experience testing within Orchestrade ETRM (essential)
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, pricing, valuation, P&L, and risk exposure
• Experience validating system configuration, workflows, and data within trading platforms
• Ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working within Front or Middle Office trading environments

✅ Commodities experience not required

✅ Strong Orchestrade platform knowledge is the key requirement
