Python Engineer is needed for an Energy & Renewables Trading client, accelerating the low-carbon mission through both financial and energy technology solutions, are looking for a Python Engineer.

This would suit a Python engineer who is looking to step directly into a fast paced environment that moves like a FinTech despite being in the Trading industry. Someone who has experience uploading data to databases using Python and writing using object-oriented programming as well are a massive necessity.

They are looking for a Python Software Engineer to help design, build, and scale the data infrastructure that powers trading products and decision-making. As a Python Engineer, you'll play a key role in shaping how data flows across the organisation, from ingestion and processing to analytics and insights.

The Energy & Renewables trading firm are planning to build their own data lake internally and more importantly need someone with strong understanding of how to do this, as well as, build quickly and be able to utilise their knowledge to make differences across the business. This role combines hands-on Python engineering with architectural thinking, where you’ll contribute to design discussions, improve data pipelines, and help set technical direction

💰 Up to £110k + Bonus + Benefits

🏠 Hybrid 3x a week in London

Tech: Expertise in Python, Ligh-level- system design, understanding of the Grand Path of Data. Containers and containerised environment.
