A leading specialty insurance and reinsurance business is hiring a Senior Blazor Developer to join its high-performing Analytics Product Engineering team in London 🚀.

This is a rare opportunity for a strong Microsoft full-stack engineer with deep Blazor experience to work on a bespoke analytics platform powering underwriting, pricing, exposure management, catastrophe response, and point-of-underwriting tooling across a globally recognised insurance business 📊🌍.

The business is heavily investing in modernising and expanding its Blazor-based analytics platform, with a strong focus on scalable frontend engineering, UX/UI quality, and highly performant web applications ⚡.

The Role 🚀

As a Senior Blazor Developer, you will take ownership of the development and enhancement of complex business-critical web applications used directly by underwriting, actuarial, and risk teams.

This is a genuinely full-stack engineering role with a major focus on Blazor frontend development, modern UI engineering, and building intuitive analytical tooling. You will also contribute across APIs, backend services, and platform architecture using C# and ASP.NET Core.

You will work closely with actuarial, underwriting, and analytics stakeholders in a highly collaborative, business-facing environment, helping shape the future of the firm’s core analytics capability.

Key Responsibilities 🧩

• Design, build, and enhance modern Blazor web applications used across underwriting and analytics teams

• Develop scalable full-stack solutions using C#, .NET, Blazor, Razor Pages, and ASP.NET Core ⚡

• Drive frontend engineering best practices with strong focus on Blazor component architecture and UX/UI design 🎨

• Build APIs and backend services supporting pricing, exposure, and underwriting tools

• Work directly with actuarial and underwriting stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver impactful solutions

• Improve performance, maintainability, and scalability across the Blazor application stack 🔍

• Contribute to technical architecture, engineering standards, and platform modernisation initiatives

• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams around deployment, tooling, and Azure environments ☁️

Required Background 🎯

• Strong commercial experience building applications with Blazor

• Deep experience with C#/.NET full-stack development

• Strong frontend engineering capability, particularly around Blazor UI/component development 💻

• Strong experience with ASP.NET Core APIs and backend services

• Experience working with SQL Server and modern Microsoft data technologies 📊

• Experience building complex internal business applications or analytical tooling

• Comfortable working directly with business users in fast-paced environments

Highly Desirable ⭐

• Experience within insurance, specialty insurance, reinsurance, or actuarial environments

• Exposure to pricing, rating, underwriting, or Quote-to-Bind systems 📈

• Experience with Razor Pages and MVC alongside Blazor

• Azure and Azure DevOps experience ☁️

• Understanding of catastrophe modelling or insurance analytics

• Experience mentoring or leading small engineering teams

• Strong UX/UI mindset with focus on intuitive analytical platforms 🧠
