The Role
We are looking for an In-House Project Manager / Delivery Lead to take ownership of projects and oversee delivery from external partners. This is a hands-on role where you will:
- Lead internal projects end-to-end, managing scope, timelines, resources, and delivery
- Oversee projects delivered by external teams: manage scope and budget, review outputs, make acceptance decisions, maintain strong partner relationships, and support vendor selection.
- Act as the central point of contact between internal teams and external providers
- Coordinate resources across departments to unblock issues and ensure smooth delivery
- Maintain clear documentation, status updates, and stakeholder communication
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
- Contribute to improving project delivery processes across the business
This role offers genuine ownership and influence. You’ll be actively involved in planning, decision-making, problem-solving and stakeholder management, ensuring projects deliver real business value.
About You
You thrive in a fast-moving environment, can switch between hands-on delivery and strategic oversight, and enjoy solving problems proactively.
You’ll have:
- Proven experience in managing internal projects end-to-end and overseeing outputs from external vendors, ideally in SMEs or fast-paced environments
- Experience in managing project budgets and resource allocation
- Strong organisational, prioritisation, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Practical, results-focused mindset
Nice to have:
- Experience with Agile or other structured delivery methodologies
- Background in financial services, digital, or technical projects
- Relevant certifications (e.g. PRINCE2)
