Lead Software Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Co-ordinating the planning and execution of test activities in collaboration with global engineering teams, local client deliver teams and client teamsWorking closely with Ignition's QA Lead to Implement best practice software quality assuranceEngaging closely with client test leads to align test strategies and approachesDesigning client specific test plans that align to the client release scheduleMonitoring and reporting on test progress and defect status during test phasesConfiguring automated tools to support automated regression testingPerform manual tests to supplement automated testing, where requiredContribute ideas to support continuous improvement.

Liaise with global testing teams to ensure suitable tests are delivered with new features developed to support a particular client implementation. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years in testing and test managementExperience with automated testing tools, such as Cypress, Postman and JIRAGood knowledge of common development methodologies including Agile.

Advantage to haveTesting certificationExperience of continuous delivery practicesExperience in a financial services or advice technology is desirable.
