Job Description

Visa is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Product Manager to help lead the payment acquisition and processing for Visa Direct Accounts and Wallets. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving product strategy, discovery, delivery and adoption to enhance the value proposition of Visa's cross-border offering. This role will be part of the core payment processing product team responsible for acquiring payments across channels (API/Files/SWIFT) and delivering these to various end points (Account/Wallets) and tracking them. This role leads one or more Product managers while reporting to the Director of Product Management.

This role requires utilizing knowledge of cross border payments, payment standards, technologies and regulations to build a compelling and competitive offering for our clients. This role also requires strong collaboration with stakeholders from Business (Treasury, Legal Compliance, Payment Operations, Customer Service), Engineering, Client Solutions, Sales and Commercialization teams to plan, build and launch new product capabilities.

Ideal candidates will have robust cross border payments product management experience, agile SDLC, cross-functional team leadership, and excellent skills in communications, business analysis, problem-solving, coordination, process excellence, and change management. A customer-first mindset is essential and experience working closely with other product managers is also a must.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Help the Product Director to define and articulate the product vision and strategy for Visa Direct's Account and Wallet product, aligning with overall business objectives
  • Conduct comprehensive market, customer, competitor, and technology research to inform product decisions
  • Conduct discovery with clients and internal teams (Sales, Solutions, Customer Service etc.) to uncover potential problems and opportunities to tackle
  • Work with Product Managers to guide translation of strategic goals into actionable product backlogs, prioritizing features based on customer, commercial, and strategic value
  • Act as the accountable product lead on large cross functional discovery initiatives & projects
  • Oversee and support end-to-end product development of critical product releases by Product Managers, including planning, execution, and launch
  • Partner with Sales, Solutions and other Go To Market teams to define go-to-market strategies and execute the launch and then track adoption across segments, regions and use cases
  • Measure and report on product performance, using data to inform future product decisions and improvements
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across multiple teams and departments while building strong relationships
  • Serve as a point of contact for Visa Direct Account and Wallet product related inquiries, offering expertise and guidance to internal and external stakeholders
  • Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including business cases, roadmaps, user guides, and training materials
  • Line manage and guide product managers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a Product Manager or Senior Product Manager role, preferably in a Fintech or tech start-up environment.
  • Experience in cross border payments, FX, transaction banking, or trading is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cross border payments, payment standards, scheme rules, payment processing technologies and regulations preferred
  • Proven ability to define and prioritize product backlogs, making tough trade-offs and data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in crafting long-term product strategies based on market research, customer insights, and competitive analysis.
  • Experience in building and launching capabilities for high volume transaction processing platforms
  • Strong understanding of agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing decision-making at multiple organizational levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent planning, problem solving, analytical and issue resolution skills
  • Experience in mentoring and coaching other product managers
  • Knowledge of Stablecoins payouts is a plus
  • Knowledge of agentic communication framework is a plus
