£40,000 - £55,000 basic salary + benefits
Hybrid – 1 day a week onsite in Leeds
We're excited to be supporting leading technology employer who are transforming how they deliver and maintain digital products for their business, they currently have a mix of inhouse and 3rd party software engineering teams, over the course of the next few years they intend to delivery more inhouse, creating a more agile software engineering function.
You'll be part of a growing team of Software Engineers who will be tasked with shaping standards, engineering practices, and delivery approaches. You'll work with modern technologies, build scalable and secure platforms, and help redefine the customer experience aswell as how the business takes technology forward in everything they do.

What You'll Be Doing
- Building and maintaining high-quality, customer-facing and back end digital platforms across Web, App, API & Microservices
- Designing scalable, secure solutions in line with modern engineering principles and cloud-based architecture
- Shaping delivery practices, automation, and observability tooling
- Collaborating across teams in product, test, delivery, and service to get great work into customers' hands
- Coaching others and contributing to the development of an engineering-led culture
What You'll Bring
You're an experienced Software Engineer with strong .NET skills and a passion for building scalable, cloud-native solutions. You enjoy working across the stack, exploring new technologies, and contributing to how teams design and deliver software.
You'll bring:
- Proven experience in C#, .NET and MVC
- Exposure to JavaScript and Typescript frameworks such as React, Vue.js or Angular.
- Experience developing and deploying in the cloud (Azure or AWS) with some interest in working with Infrastructure as Code.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices including CI/CD and Git.
- Knowledge of CMS platforms, authentication methods and database design with an openness to the database technology you work with.
- A collaborative approach, with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering customer-first outcomes in agile environments.

The client operates a two stage interview process which will be a team's call followed by a technical interview where you will complete and discuss a coding exercise .
