Senior Property and Contracts Lawyer

We are working with a local authority's growing legal team in the South West of England who are looking for an experienced locum contracts and property lawyer to join their team!

The role would require office presence once every 10-14 days for signing and sealing, the rest of the the position is fully remote.

The work would require someone to be able to hit the ground running and get to grips with a broad range of commercial property, contracts and general procurement matters, as such prior local authority/public sector experience is required.

The role:

• Full time hours
• 6 month initial contract, with the option to roll-over
• Hybrid working arrangement (fortnightly in the office)
• Rate: £50-60ph depending on candidate experience
• Must have prior and extensive local authority experience
• Must have experience with funding and service agreements, IT contracts, commercial leases and extensions.
