Vivo Talent is engaged with our client to recruit a DevOps Consultant who will play a key role in transforming and future-proofing a large scale IoT platform.

You'll drive improvements across deployment, security and infrastructure - introducing best-in-class CI/CD pipelines, containerised environments and robust monitoring, helping to create a more scalable, secure and high-performing production ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and improve DevOps architecture and workflows
Design & implement CI/CD pipelines (GitLab)
Containerise services using Docker & Docker Compose
Enhance deployment, release, and automation processes
Implement monitoring, observability, and alerting
Strengthen security (scanning, vulnerabilities, secrets management)
Optimise infrastructure for performance, scalability, and resilience

Key Skills:

Strong DevOps experience in production environments
Expertise in Docker & containerised deployments
Proven GitLab CI/CD pipeline implementation
Experience with PHP applications in containerised environments
Solid Linux & networking knowledge (TLS, reverse proxies, etc.)
Monitoring & logging tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana)
Security best practices & vulnerability scanning
