This isn’t just another project management role.

We’re looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to build and shape a brand-new project management function within a fast-growing technology and data organisation. You’ll be stepping into a highly visible role where your ideas, structure, and leadership will directly influence how technology and data projects are delivered across the business.

From cloud and DevOps to data platforms and analytics, you’ll lead a portfolio of high-impact, business-critical initiatives—working closely with engineering, data, product, and senior stakeholders to turn strategy into reality.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Build from the ground up: Design and embed a new project management function, including governance, delivery frameworks, and reporting standards.

• Own delivery: Lead multiple concurrent IT and data projects end-to-end using PRINCE2, Agile, and hybrid approaches.

• Drive data initiatives: Support projects such as data platform upgrades, analytics improvements, and data governance enhancements.

• Enable Agile ways of working: Facilitate stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews to keep teams aligned and delivering value.

• Power cloud & DevOps delivery: Coordinate across development, data engineering, and infrastructure teams to keep momentum high.

• Keep everything on track: Manage risks, budgets, dependencies, timelines, and resourcing with confidence.

• Be the connector: Build strong relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity, trust, and transparency.

• Raise the bar: Champion continuous improvement and help create a culture of predictable, high-quality delivery.

About You:

• Proven experience delivering multiple IT projects, ideally including data-focused initiatives.

• Confident using PRINCE2, Agile (Scrum/Kanban), and modern delivery practices.

• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and exposure to DevOps tooling and principles.

• A solid understanding of data environments—data platforms, pipelines, analytics, BI, or governance.

• Excellent communicator who can influence, challenge, and bring people along on the journey.

• Comfortable setting up new processes and ways of working—and improving them as you go.

• Organised, proactive, and solutions-focused, even when juggling multiple priorities.
