Chief Technology Officer

Chief Technology Officer (CTO) - Voice Identity, AI Security & Decentralized Identity

Location: Fully remote (UK/EU preferred; open globally)

Type: Full-time | Salary + meaningful equity | Founding leadership role

Company Description: Voxmind is building the next generation of digital identity and authentication for the AI era, using voice biometrics, liveness/anti-spoofing, and continuous authentication to protect enterprises from account takeover and deepfake-enabled fraud across banking, government, telecom, and healthcare. We are looking for a CTO who can lead our technology strategy and execution, while setting the foundation for long-term product and company growth over the next decade.

What you will own:

  • Define and execute Voxmind's technology and product roadmap, translating strategy into a disciplined engineering plan and quarterly milestones.
  • Lead architecture and delivery of an enterprise-grade identity platform: secure APIs, SDKs, developer portal, sandbox, and integration ecosystem.
  • Drive priority enterprise integrations: IAM/SSO, provisioning (SCIM), and policy-driven access control.
  • Build the next layer of the platform: decentralized identity (DID/VC), selective disclosure / privacy-preserving verification, and blockchain integrations where they add measurable value.
  • Deliver industry connectors: KYC/AML providers and telecom/call-center IVR stacks, enabling voice authentication across digital and phone channels.
  • Lead AI roadmap for voice: biometric model strategy, anti-spoofing/liveness, robustness across languages/accents/noise, and evaluation metrics (FAR/FRR, latency, drift).
  • Build AI-agent and continuous authentication capabilities for modern enterprise workflows and conversational interfaces, integrating with agent frameworks and orchestration systems.
  • Establish security, compliance, and reliability as core product features: secure SDLC, threat modeling, observability, incident response, and readiness for ISO 27001 / SOC 2 (and relevant digital identity frameworks).
  • Build and lead the engineering organization: hiring, culture, code quality, performance, and execution cadence (sprints, release trains, roadmap governance).
  • Partner closely with founders on customer pilots, enterprise architecture reviews, technical due diligence, and scaling strategic partnerships.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven CTO/VP Engineering or senior technical leadership experience building and scaling B2B SaaS, security, identity, or regulated enterprise platforms.
  • Deep hands-on expertise in at least one of: voice technology, speech/biometrics, neural networks, applied ML (PhD preferred but not required if experience is exceptional).
  • Strong understanding of identity and security standards: OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, JWT, SCIM, RBAC/ABAC, key management, encryption, auditability.
  • Experience shipping production systems with high reliability and strong security posture (multi-tenant architecture, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, observability).
  • Ability to architect developer-first products: APIs/SDKs, integration patterns, documentation, and platform thinking.
  • Comfortable in early-stage environments: high ownership, fast iteration, strong product instincts, and customer-facing technical leadership.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with decentralized identity (DIDs, Verifiable Credentials), privacy-preserving cryptography, or blockchain-based identity primitives.
  • Experience in banking/fintech, government digital ID programs, telecom/call centers, or healthcare identity.
  • Track record of building security/compliance programs (ISO 27001, SOC 2) in startups.

What success looks like:

  • Enterprise-ready platform with robust IAM/SSO + SCIM integrations and a strong developer experience.
  • Production deployments with flagship customers in banking/fintech and a clear path into telecom/IVR.
  • Measurable voice authentication performance improvements and a scalable AI roadmap (anti-spoofing, continuous auth, monitoring).
  • Security and compliance posture aligned to enterprise procurement and audits.
  • A high-performing engineering team with predictable delivery and strong technical culture.

Compensation:

Competitive salary plus meaningful equity. Fully remote initially; preference for UK/EU time zones, open globally.

Apply: Send LinkedIn profile/CV and a short note on the most relevant platform you've built (identity, security, voice, ML) to careers@voxmind.ai
