Hours: 37.5 per week

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated and organised Junior IT Project Manager to join our growing Digital and Transformation team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in project management, gaining hands-on experience across a variety of IT and business change projects.

Working closely with experienced Project Managers and senior stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in coordinating and delivering projects that make a real impact across the organisation. From planning and tracking progress to supporting stakeholders and ensuring successful delivery, you’ll be involved throughout the full project lifecycle.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the planning, scheduling and delivery of IT projects
  • Coordinating communication between internal teams, stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Maintaining project documentation, timelines, and risk logs
  • Tracking progress against milestones and reporting on project status
  • Assisting with governance processes from business case through to delivery
  • Monitoring risks and escalating issues where required
  • Supporting the delivery of projects on time, within scope and budget
  • Managing project tools such as Jira, MS Project or similar
  • Taking on increasing responsibility as your skills develop

About You

We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive, and passionate about building a career in project management.

You’ll also bring:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A basic understanding of project management principles
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and project tools
  • A collaborative, team-focused approach
  • A keen interest in developing your career in IT project management

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a project support or coordination role
  • Exposure to project management methodologies (e.g. Agile, PRINCE2)
  • Working towards, or interest in, professional project management certifications
