Hardware/Electronics Design Engineer (2 Positions)

Location: Glasgow (Hybrid Working)

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and develop analogue and digital electronic hardware.
• Produce schematics and support PCB layout activities (Altium Designer preferred).
• Support prototype bring-up, debugging, and hardware verification.
• Carry out testing and validation using standard laboratory equipment.
• Contribute to the development of hardware test procedures and engineering documentation.
• Interface electronic hardware with sensors and Embedded systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the product development life cycle.

Technical Skills & Experience

• Solid understanding of analogue and digital circuit design fundamentals.
• Experience with schematic capture and exposure to PCB layout, ideally using Altium Designer.
• Experience with prototype bring-up and hardware verification.
• Confident using laboratory test equipment including:
  • Oscilloscope
  • Spectrum Analyser
  • Signal Generator
• Experience contributing to test procedures and technical documentation.
• Exposure to sensors and Embedded hardware interfaces.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
