Electronics/PCB Design Engineer - Glasgow
Location: Glasgow
Working Pattern: 2-3 days per week on-site
Contract: Inside IR35
Contract: 3 - 6 months
Rate: Negotiable
I'm currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electronics/PCB Design Engineer to join a leading engineering team in Glasgow.
This is a hands-on role for an engineer with strong experience in electronics design and PCB development, working across the full design life cycle from concept through to testing and production.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop analogue and digital electronic circuits
- PCB schematic capture and layout
- Support PCB design through prototype, testing and validation
- Work with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/design issues
- Produce and maintain technical documentation
- Support design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in electronics design and PCB development
- Strong understanding of analogue and digital electronics
- Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium, Cadence, Mentor Graphics or similar
- Experience taking designs from concept through to prototype/testing
- Ability to read and produce schematics and technical documentation
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience working within a structured engineering environment
