Marketing Apprentice (Content Creator focus)
Create content and creative assets for West Midlands Media and our clients across web, social and short-form video. You’ll complete the Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship with support from our web, design and marketing teams. If you’re creative, organised and have a portfolio, apply.
Role
- Create content for websites, landing pages and blogs
- Write and schedule social posts (captions, hashtags, short-form posts)
- Design simple assets (social graphics, banners, basic infographics)
- Repurpose content across web, social, email and video
- Research industries, competitors and trends to generate content ideas
- Support content planning and campaign schedules
- Update website content and page layouts with guidance (CMS/WordPress)
- Create and edit short-form videos for social (including AI-assisted tools where appropriate)
- Work with the team to gather briefs, feedback and approvals, then refine content
- Track basic performance metrics and note what to improve next time
Training
Training will be delivered through a blended Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship. Most learning will take place in the workplace at our Wolverhampton office (WV1 3JE), supported by our web, design, project management and digital marketing teams, alongside scheduled off-the-job training sessions delivered online.
The apprentice will complete regular taught sessions and independent study, plus workplace projects to build their portfolio and evidence.
Training will run throughout the apprenticeship, with ongoing 1:1 support, progress reviews and End-Point Assessment preparation in the final stage.
The possibility of full-time employment on successful completion of your apprenticeship is available, subject to performance and business needs.
