Sales Support Administrator Apprentice
As a Sales Support Administrator Apprentice you will be at the heart of our operations helping sales orders run smoothly, supporting account profitability, and working with the team to deliver a service our customers value.
You will begin with a supported workload and take on more as your confidence grows.
Role
- Processing sales orders accurately across UK and international markets
- Managing orders efficiently to help maintain service levels
- Working within an agreed pricing tolerance, using your judgement where a variation would affect margin, and escalating anything beyond that tolerance
- Keeping up to date with our latest products, services and systems
- Liaising with vendors to obtain product, pricing and availability information for customers
- Supporting customer management, working to agreed SLAs and KPIs, and understanding how your accuracy affects the team’s performance against them
- Handling customer queries by email and telephone, escalating complex cases
- Maintaining confidential customer and procurement records in line with our data protection and information security policies
- Producing regular reports or summaries, for example on order volumes or SLA performance
- Contributing to team meetings with insights and process improvement ideas, and taking the minutes
- Carrying out general administrative tasks that keep daily operations running smoothly
Training
- An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation
- Off-the-job training will follow the time allocations outlined in the Occupational Standard
- An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence
