Location: Remote (occasional on-site in Croydon/London/Bristol)
Employment Type: Contract Inside IR35 - 6 months
Day Rate: up to £500

About the Role

We are seeking an AWS Security Engineer with proven expertise in securing AWS environments at scale. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in building secure, scalable cloud solutions while maintaining best practices in automation, orchestration, and DevOps.

You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing security guardrails across AWS landing zones, ensuring compliance and robust protection for critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert in AWS Security, demonstrating experience from previous roles.

• Build and manage AWS landing zones, with a focus on implementing security guardrails.

• Deliver Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions to optimize efficiency and scalability.

• Provide AWS infrastructure support in large-scale environments.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth delivery workflows.

• Design and implement orchestration strategies for seamless, repeatable deployments.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Security services (IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub, etc.).

• Demonstrated track record of securing large AWS environments.

• Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).

• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, etc.).
