SC Cleared Cloud Platform Engineer - Azure/Entra ID/Terraform
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer for an urgent 3-month contract supporting a large engineering enterprise environment.
The role is predominantly remote, with occasional travel to Portsmouth desirable.
You will be responsible for supporting, maintaining and developing enterprise cloud and hybrid platform services, with a particular focus on Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Azure Landing Zones, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation and cloud governance.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure experience within an enterprise environment
- Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD
- Azure Landing Zones
- Management Groups, subscriptions, Azure Policy and RBAC
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or Bicep
- PowerShell Scripting and automation
- Azure CLI
- CI/CD/pipeline-based infrastructure delivery
- Conditional Access, PIM and identity governance
- Hybrid identity and Active Directory integration
- Cloud monitoring, alerting and logging
- Azure governance, security and compliance
- Experience working within formal change and governance environments

The Role:
You will support Azure Landing Zone operations, develop reusable IaC modules and automation, administer Entra ID capabilities and help maintain secure, standardised and supportable cloud platforms.
You will work closely with Architecture, Security, Network, Infrastructure and Identity teams and provide technical input into cloud adoption, migration and modernisation initiatives.

Duration: Initial 3 months, with potential for extension

Rate: £550-700 per day Inside IR35
Clearance: Active SC clearance required
