Cybersecurity Manager
Wood is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Manager to join our Cybersecurity team. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Cybersecurity, you will lead assigned areas of Wood's cybersecurity programmed and help translate strategic priorities into effective operational delivery.
This role is fully remote, with occasional travel to UK offices on an ad hoc basis.

This influential role requires strong leadership, sound judgement and the ability to work effectively across technical teams, business functions and external partners.

You will work with a broad range of technical teams, business stakeholders and external partners while helping to strengthen services that protect Wood's people, information, technologies and operations. The key objectives for this role are: Lead, coach and support assigned Cybersecurity Team Leads and specialistsTranslate cybersecurity strategy and programmed priorities into clear plans, actions and outcomesOversee assigned cybersecurity services, controls and operational activitiesManage demand across incidents, investigations, service requests, security reviews and improvement activitiesLead assigned projects and workstreams, maintaining clear ownership, milestones, risks and dependenciesMonitor delivery against agreed scope, timescales, budgets and expected outcomesMaintain accurate dashboards, operational reporting and management informationIdentify and escalate material risks, service issues, resource constraints and delivery concernsSupport the effective coordination of significant cybersecurity incidents and investigationsManage assigned suppliers and managed security service providersBuild effective relationships across Cybersecurity, IT, business functions and corporate teamsCommunicate cybersecurity risks and requirements in clear, business-focused languageSupport governance reviews, audits, assurance activities and remediation programmersTurn lessons from incidents, investigations, audits and service failures into sustained improvementsImprove services through standardization, automation, knowledge sharing and effective ways of workingOur Clients and Projects Designing the future.
