Account Manager. Broadband/Telecoms Solutions

Location: Remote, California
Territory: California, Nevada and Utah
Salary: $112,000 to $168,000, depending on experience

A leading broadband infrastructure solutions provider is seeking an experienced Account Manager to support Tier 1 and Tier 2 telecommunications customers across California, Nevada and Utah.

This field-based position will focus on strengthening existing accounts, increasing market share and identifying opportunities across fiber, FTTH and broadband network expansion projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with major and regional telecommunications providers
• Execute account strategies alongside Key Account Managers
• Grow revenue and product adoption across existing accounts
• Build relationships with engineering, construction, operations, procurement and leadership teams
• Identify fiber deployment projects, network upgrades and regional growth opportunities
• Gather market intelligence, customer demand signals and competitor activity
• Support product demonstrations, training, specifications and customer approvals
• Coordinate quotations and resolve regional customer issues
• Manage relationships with contractors, distributors and channel partners
• Travel regularly throughout California, Nevada and Utah

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• At least five years of telecommunications, broadband, fiber infrastructure or telco sales experience
• Proven success managing and growing existing customer relationships
• Strong understanding of FTTH, fiber optic infrastructure, broadband deployment or outside plant solutions
• Experience working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 telecommunications providers
• Confident engaging with engineering, construction, operations and procurement teams
• Strong territory management, presentation and relationship-building skills
• Willingness to travel regularly across the assigned territory

Experience with major US telecommunications operators, broadband contractors or distribution partners would be particularly advantageous.
