About the Role

WRK digital are proud to partner with a leading consultancy delivering innovative solutions in the tech-for-good space. We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join the team on an inside IR35 contract. This role will focus on designing and developing high-quality Salesforce solutions to support critical projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, and Visualforce.
• Configure Salesforce features including workflows, validation rules, flows, reports, and dashboards.
• Build and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and middleware tools.
• Implement data models, custom objects, fields, and security configurations.
• Write unit tests ensuring high code coverage and compliance with Salesforce best practice.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce development standards.
• Support deployments using Salesforce DX, CI/CD pipelines, and change management processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
• Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators, Product Owners, and business users to refine requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation and solution designs.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer with strong knowledge of Apex, LWC, and Visualforce.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration and customisation.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security, and sharing rules.
• Experience with API integrations and middleware tools.
• Familiarity with Salesforce DX, CI/CD, and deployment best practice.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Desirable

• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Administrator).
• Experience with Aura Components and Platform Events.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and automated testing frameworks.
