Contract Senior Full Stack Engineer

Location: UK Remote (Consultancy with a Yorkshire HQ)

Contract Type: 3 months Inside IR35

Day Rate: £500 per day

WRK digital are proud to partner with a leading agile consultancy delivering high-impact projects in the FinTech space. We are seeking 2 experienced Full Stack Engineering Consultants to join the team on an inside IR35 contract. This role will focus on building and maintaining web applications using modern technologies, primarily with React, Typescript and AWS while contributing to the success of critical projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using JavaScript and Typescript.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Implement best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.
• Support live products and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Mentor and upskill engineers within the team.
• Adapt to different tech stacks and environments as required.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• Strong coding experience with modern JavaScript Frameworks including React & Node.js.
• Experience working within cloud environments, specifically AWS or Azure (or both).
• Solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code with Terraform or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Good understanding of and experience working with agile methodologies.
• Experience supporting live products and adapting to different tech stacks.
• Proficiency with source control, particularly Git.
• Experience with database technologies of some flavour.
• Ability to mentor and upskill engineers.

Desirable

• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience working in regulated environments or FinTech.
