New Opportunity – IT Platform Engineer – Azure, Terraform, DevOps – Leeds (Hybrid)

We're looking for an IT Platform Engineer to join a forward-thinking team that's redefining how infrastructure and platforms support modern software delivery.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on the design, build, and maintenance of an Internal

Developer Platform (IDP) that underpins scalable, secure, and high-performing systems. You'll collaborate closely with Software Engineering, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to streamline delivery, enhance reliability, and simplify complexity across the organisation's platforms.

What you'll be doing:

Design and maintain infrastructure platforms that support scalable, secure applications

Build and optimise an Internal Developer Platform (IDP) to improve developer productivity

Track and manage reliability performance against SLOs and SLIs

Collaborate on system design, capacity planning, and platform architecture

Advocate best practices in testing, code quality, and automation

Enable self-service infrastructure capabilities through workflow automation

Manage tooling for orchestration, observability, and platform automation

Participate in on-call rotations and incident analysis with a blameless culture

Produce clear documentation and contribute to platform governance and scalability

Foster a collaborative, high-performance environment across cross-functional teams

What we're looking for:

Experience with platform engineering and DevOps practices

Knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform, APIM), CI/CD pipelines, and scripting languages

Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and platform observability tooling

Understanding of ITIL, Agile, SRE, and platform governance frameworks

Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical teams

Passion for simplifying software delivery and enabling scalable infrastructure
