Senior .NET Developer (Contract) – Digital Transformation

Leeds (1 day per week on‐site) | £500 per day | Inside IR35

Defence experience required

We’re working with one of our leading consultancy partners on a brand‐new digital transformation programme, they are working with a client in the defence space and they're looking for solid backend engineers to hit the ground running in a new project.

This is a hands‐on backend role, ideal for engineers who enjoy building scalable APIs and cloud‐native solutions from the ground up.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing and building .NET Core APIs in a modern microservices environment
• Developing and deploying solutions in Azure
• Using Terraform to implement Infrastructure as Code
• Collaborating within a newly established agile delivery team
• Contributing to architecture decisions and best practices

What we’re looking for

• Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET Core
• Proven backend/API development experience
• Hands‐on Azure experience (PaaS, cloud services, deployments)
• Solid experience with Terraform
• Comfortable working in consultancy or delivery‐focused environments
• Experience in the defence sector (Heavily desirable))
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Rate: £500 per day (Inside IR35)
• Location: Leeds – 1 day per week on‐site
• Start: ASAP
• Contract: 6 month length
