WRK digital is excited to partner with a well-known and trusted UK brand to recruit a skilled Technical Business Analyst (Data) for a new contract opportunity. This is a fantastic chance to join a forward-thinking technology team focused on scalability, automation, and cloud infrastructure innovation. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a high-profile data transformation initiative. This role is ideal for a hands-on analyst with strong technical capability and a deep understanding of modern data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and translate complex data requirements into clear technical specifications.
• Support data engineering and data platform teams in delivering scalable, high-quality solutions.
• Map and document data flows, integrations, and system processes.
• Bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation.
• Contribute to solution design discussions, ensuring alignment with data strategy.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst within data-focused projects.
• Strong AWS expertise (e.g., S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda or similar).
• Hands-on Alteryx experience for data preparation, automation, and workflows.
• Solid understanding of data modelling, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud-based data architectures.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable

• Experience in large-scale data transformation or cloud migration programmes.
• Knowledge of modern BI, analytics, or data governance tooling.
