A Little More About Your Role… We’re looking for a Senior Data Consultant to help us deliver high-impact programmes for clients like National Highways , the Danish Road Directorate , and other public sector organisations. You’ll work with data from a wide spectrum-traffic flows, environmental sensors, geospatial systems, citizen services, and infrastructure networks-to solve complex problems and guide strategic decisions. Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and lead tasks within delivery of data engineering, analytics, and reporting solutions across varied domains.
- Collaborate with clients, partners, and supply chains to tackle technical and operational challenges.
- Explore and model data from diverse sources—transport, spatial, environmental, and operational—to uncover insights.
- Shape data strategies and roadmaps, and design solutions that align with client goals.
- Provide technical assurance and act as a trusted advisor across projects.
- Contribute to proposals and help shape delivery plans in multi-disciplinary environments.
- Champion data excellence across our team and global networks, mentoring others and sharing best practices.
- Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Proven ability to deliver technical tasks independently within data projects.
- Strong client-facing skills: requirements gathering, presenting insights, facilitating solution testing.
- Experience conducting discovery activities and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in tools like SQL, Python, Azure and Power BI.
- Experience with spatial data analysis, GIS tools, and working with varied datasets (e.g., sensor data, operational data, public service data).
- Understanding of data management and governance best practices, along with familiarity with documentation standards.
