Business Development Manager

We’re partnering with a national property services organisation to hire a Business Development Manager for a technology platform combining data insights and advisory services to optimise space utilisation and unlock additional value from property assets.

This is a commercially focused role with ownership of the full business development lifecycle, from identifying opportunities through to shaping solutions and driving client adoption.

The Role

You will work closely with property owners and stakeholders to understand how their space is currently used, identify opportunities for improvement, and position a solution that delivers both operational and commercial value.

This is not a transactional sales role, it requires a consultative approach, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to translate client needs into tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive outreach and market engagement
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to conversion and onboarding
  • Develop tailored proposals aligned to client needs, working with internal teams where required
  • Present solutions clearly and confidently to a range of stakeholders
  • Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted point of contact during early engagement
  • Identify opportunities to expand client usage through additional services
  • Track pipeline activity, performance, and key metrics

What They’re Looking For

  • Experience in B2B business development, consultative sales, or client-facing commercial roles
  • Proven ability to manage a full sales cycle
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable developing and presenting structured proposals
  • Commercially minded with the ability to identify and progress opportunities
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
