Job Title: Senior Reporting & Data Analyst (eFront Invest)

Overview

Our leading financial services client is seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong Senior Reporting & Data Analyst to support the development, enhancement, and delivery of reporting solutions built on eFront Invest and associated data platforms.

This role will play a key part in maintaining and improving SQL- and SAS-based reporting, supporting structured data integrations, and ensuring high-quality, well-governed data flows across client reporting, regulatory submissions, and internal analytics.

You will work closely with Technology, Operations, and Client-facing teams to ensure reporting outputs and data pipelines are accurate, timely, and aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting Development & Support

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting solutions within eFront Invest, using SQL and SAS
  • Build and support structured data outputs including XML, CSV, and flat-file extracts
  • Translate business reporting requirements into efficient SQL/SAS logic and reusable code
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy of outputs

Data Integrations & Structured Data Flows

  • Support data integrations between eFront Invest, data warehouses, and external platforms
  • Troubleshoot data flow issues, including ETL failures and transformation discrepancies
  • Monitor integrations using tools such as MuleSoft, SSIS, or similar platforms
  • Maintain data mapping, lineage documentation, and transformation logic

Operational Support & Issue Resolution

  • Investigate and resolve reporting issues, data inconsistencies, and workflow challenges
  • Perform root cause analysis and escalate complex issues where necessary
  • Support reporting cycles in line with agreed SLAs and business expectations

Governance, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain clear documentation, test evidence, and change records in line with audit standards (e.g. ISAE 3402)
  • Identify opportunities for automation, improved controls, and process efficiencies
  • Support regular review and optimisation of reporting assets and processes

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with financial reporting, fund accounting, and technology teams
  • Provide user support and contribute to knowledge sharing and training materials
  • Proactively identify recurring issues and recommend enhancements

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Essential

  • Strong hands-on experience with eFront Invest is essential
  • 3+ years’ experience in reporting, data analysis, or financial systems support roles
  • Strong SQL skills, with exposure to SAS (or willingness to learn)
  • Experience working with structured data formats (CSV, XML, flat files) and data pipelines
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, validation, and reconciliation
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality and governance
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Desirable

  • Experience with integration and ETL tools such as MuleSoft, SSIS, or similar
  • Familiarity with private markets, fund accounting, or financial reporting environments
  • Understanding of data governance, audit, and compliance frameworks
