Senior Software Engineer (Oracle/AWS/Devops)

Our leading PAAS cloud platform client is looking for a Senior Software Engineer who sits at the intersection of software development, database design, and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded Software Engineer (Java/TypeScript) with strong database experience, including PL/SQL development, schema design, performance tuning, and ownership of database operations in cloud environments. Most of the relevant experience should come from working with Oracle, though we also value broader RDBMS knowledge.

Minimum 8 years' experience as a Software Engineer or Senior Software Engineer

Hands-on software development experience in Java and/or TypeScript

Database development experience across major RDBMS (eg, Oracle, Postgres, SQL Server), with strong skills in writing stored procedures, functions, and packages

Database performance tuning skills including query optimization, indexing strategies, and resource management

Experience in ER modelling and relational schema design for complex, multi-tenant applications

AWS experience, especially with RDS, infrastructure automation, and monitoring

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and DevOps practices

Agile development experience and a collaborative mindset
