Compliance Advisor – Basingstoke (Office-based) – £35,000–£45,000

With around 200 employees and a presence across multiple European locations, they support approximately 2,000 customer and business accounts. About the Job:

Supporting the Legal and Compliance Manager, this pivotal role will focus on ensuring the organisation’s compliance with trade regulations, supply chain integrity policies, and quality standards. You will work closely with internal teams to implement robust policies and maintain relevant accreditations while keeping compliance at the heart of operational practices.

Duties will include:

• Acting as a point of contact for trade compliance matters, including ECCN classification and export licensing
• Supporting supplier and product onboarding, risk assessments, and questionnaire management
• Managing and maintaining ISO certifications across quality, environmental, and health & safety standards
• Collating and submitting data for environmental reporting requirements such as WEEE, batteries, and packaging
• Monitoring CO2 emissions, assisting with health & safety incident reporting, and supporting audit preparation
• Supporting the Legal and Compliance Manager with the compliance plan and submissions to stakeholders
• Contributing to sustainability initiatives and supporting tender processes with relevant compliance information

About the Successful Applicant:

You will bring a strong understanding of trade compliance and supply chain processes, with a working knowledge of ISO standards and environmental reporting. Confident handling data, you can translate complex policies into clear procedures and embed them across teams. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
